Sonshine Lunch Club (soup kitchen)
We are a volunteer group that provide nourishment and fellowship to those less fortunate than ourselves every Thursday of each week throughout the year.
We keep people informed in regards to the needs of the community.

The Parish support of this community outreach over the past 13 years has been consistent and appreciated. However, due to personnel retiring and helpers needing time off due to personal commitments, we are looking to balance the work load of those doing the shopping, preparation and serving of the lunches and general cleaning. We provide a service to many hungry clients. Our supply of food is generally adequate, through donations of foodstuffs and money, but man and woman power will soon be needed to offset the change in staffing.
Both local Anglican parishes, St. Johns and St. Peters prepare and serve lunches on Thursday.
If you are interested and need further information please contact Joan Anslow, Connie Paget or Gail Mercredi or contact the Parish office.

The Mason's Turkey Dinner
The Sonshine Club and the Masons served up a delicious Turkey Dinner on Oct 29 to a large number of clients. The parishioners of St. John The Divine contributed with the desserts and the Masons contributed with the cost of the food.
